An early morning crash involving two tractor trailer trucks caused a major traffic jam on Route 22 West this morning. Nancy Run and Bethlehem Township fire companies were dispatched for a vehicle accident at mile marker 329. Chief Bachemin arrived and found the accident to be at mile marker 329.2. The accident appeared to be the result of one truck crashing into the rear of the other. No hazardous materials were involved and one truck needed to be towed. Units on scene provided spill control as needed as well as scene safety and traffic control. Route 22 West was reduced to one lane for about an hour.
