Fire 14 and 17 were dispatched Monday afternoon for a working dwelling fire. Shortly after dispatch, 1452 requested the RIT assignment from Fire 23 (West Easton). Engine 1411 responded with a crew of six and was first to arrive on scene to find smoke showing from the eves. 1452 assumed command and requested the first five tankers from the tanker task force. Crews stretched a line and had the fire knocked down quickly and advised it was contained to an exterior porch roof. Crews worked to overhaul the area and check for extension. The fire was deemed under control in approximately 15 minutes while units remained for a little while until the salvage operations were completed.
