Pink fire engines, firefighters wearing pink gear, and fire trucks from around the region all greeted hundreds of visitors at Nancy Run Fire Company today. The Pink Heals Tour 2009 stopped by Station 14 in support of our Pink Tee Shirt sale. And what support they provided! Nearly 100 people took advantage and purchased their own Nancy Run Fire Tee shirts, in a lovely shade of pink, to support St. Lukes Cancer Center in Bethlehem. Shirts are $15 each and all proceeds benefit the local cancer center. All of the money raised remains within the region for treatment, research and education.
Want to know how to get a shirt of your own? Feel free to contact Bill Andress at wandress@nancyrun.org for details.
All members of Nancy Run Fire Company are proud to have hosted this event, and look forward to more opportunities to continue their service to their community in the future.
