Both Bethlehem Township fire companies are going to be staffed with well-trained volunteers for the duration of Hurricane Sandy. The fire companies will NOT be responding to routine pump outs until at least Thursday. Please be mindful of their safety, as well as police and EMS, when going about your daily tasks. If you must travel Monday and Tuesday, please keep it limited. Not only might your life be put into danger but also the lives of first responders. The weather is expected to deteriorate quickly which means localized flooding can happen in an instant. Please be safe and stay indoors. Please utilize the 911 system only in emergencies.
