Just before lunch, Tower 1421 was dispatched for dwelling fire in Lower Nazareth Township. While en route, communications advised of a fire on the stove with heavy smoke in the dwelling and a disabled party entrapped. With the update from communications, Fire Marshal 5360 requested Squad 1412 to be dispatched and 1421 to expedite their response. Upon arrival, 1421's crew noticed smoke pushing from a rear window on the first floor. Captain Lenner and Firefighter Semonich made entry into the dwelling to search for the trapped party. The disabled female was found in a rear bedroom and was sheltered in place. Lieutenant Rivera, with Firefighters DeMasi and Hay, knocked the fire down in the kitchen and began overhaul. Assistant Chief Austin assisted the crews from Squad 1412 and Engine 5312 with ventilation. Crews were on scene for approximately one hour.
