Ten firefighters certified in Water Rescue Phase 1.

Ten firefighters recently went through Water Rescue Phase 1 training held by Northampton County Fire School. The firefighters sat through two 8 hour classroom sessions and one 8 hour practical session which was held on the Delaware River at the Portland foot bridge. All ten members are looking forward to taking the Ice Rescue class, which is the second phase of water-related rescue classes.
