Crews extricate 2 on Freemansburg Avenue

Just before noon on the 29th, Fire and EMS units were dispatched to Freemansburg Avenue in the area of Linden Street for a single vehicle accident into a wall and telephone pole. Chief 1751 arrived on scene and established command. He reported two occupants trapped in the vehicle. Rescue Engine 1413, Heavy Rescue 1741, and Engine 1712 utilized hydraulic tools to free the trapped occupants. Both occupants were removed in 20 minutes. They were transported to the local trauma center by EMS. The accident remains under investigation by Bethlehem Township Police Department.
