Rescue Engine 1413 was dispatched on the initial assignment for the reported House fire in Hellertown. While units were responding, Police arrived on scene and reported a detached garage with heavy smoke showing. Crews found a two story garage with fire throughout. The crew from 1413 softened the structure to ensure rapid access in the case of emergency. Crews then assisted with overhaul until released by 13 Command.
