Bethlehem Township fire companies, as well as Bethlehem Township EMS, were alerted to respond to the 2200 block of Brodhead Road for a report of a motor vehicle accident with unknown injuries. Engine 1411 was on the road with 6 members within a minute of dispatch. While responding companies were alerted that a fire officer from Nazareth Borough (5059) was on scene reporting two vehicles with one party partially entrapped.

Engine 1411 arrived on scene with Firefighter Sigley establishing Command, confirming two vehicles still in the roadway with one party trapped inside the vehicle. The crew from Engine 1411 immediately pulled the front bumper line for fire protection and began to stabilize the vehicle. Medics from 1783 made patient contact and established patient care as crews from the engine company began removing the driver side door. Crews quickly made access to the patient who suffered minor injuries. The patient was extricated within minutes of the first unit arrival on scene.
