Squad runs accident with rescue on Route 33.

On Friday December 30th, crews were alerted to a motor vehicle accident with rescue on Route 33 under the Interstate 78 overpass. Squad 1412 went responding with a crew of four immediately after dispatch. The Squad arrived on scene and found a single vehicle up the embankment with heavy driver side impact damage. 1412's crew went to work stabilizing the vehicle and began extrication of the single patient. Within 15 minutes, the patient was extricated and en route to the hospital. Firefighter Sigley stayed ready with the charged hoseline until the vehicle was removed from under the bridge.
