| Stations 14, 15 and 17 were alerted to a vehicle fire on Route 22 East at Route 191. EMS 1783 arrived on scene and advised of a working vehicle fire. 1783 shut down the highway enabling 1411 to come the wrong way on the highway. Engine 1411 arrived and 1451 (Chief Hauze) established Command. Crews from 1411 stretched the bumper line and extinguished the fire in minutes. Crews also forced the hood of the vehicle and broke out windows to assist the attack team. After the fire was out crews overhauled the vehicle and checked for hot spots. 1451 then cleared all fire units while state police remained on scene until the tow company arrived. |
