| On October 29th a surprise snowstorm hit the Lehigh Valley, bringing six to eight inches of wet, heavy snow to the area. This snowfall knocked out the power to most of the Bethlehem Township area. From October 29th to the 30th the volunteers ran 31 calls consisting of twenty-five wire calls, three working dwelling fires and four miscellaneous calls. This meant for a busy weekend to all who staffed the firehouse. By November 1st most of the power in the township was restored and call volume returned to normal. |
