In the early morning hours on February 2nd, Nancy Run and Bethlehem Township Fire and EMS crews were dispatched to West Greenwood Drive for a reported single vehicle into a tree with entrapment. Crews responded and arrived to find a single SUV that had driven off the road and struck a tree behind a home. The "very lucky" single occupant was not entrapped, but was injured and just missed an in-ground swimming pool by a few feet, along with several homes and a mailbox. Crews secured the vehicle and assisted EMS with patient care and packaging. The occupant was transported to a local trauma center with moderate injuries.
