On April 5th at 2255hrs., Bethlehem Township fire and EMS units were dispatched to 2800 Baglyos Circle for an automatic fire alarm with a waterflow activation. Assistant Chief Soska (1452) and Engine 1412 arrived simultaneously with nothing showing from the exterior. Using the Knox Box key, crews made entry into a front door and were immediately met with a heavy smoke condition. 1452 quickly upgraded the assignment to a 1st alarm commercial structure fire which brought in units from Palmer Township, West Easton, Freemansburg, Hecktown and Steel City. The crews from 1412 and 1741 searched the large warehouse for the fire and found pallets and wood products on fire in the rear. The fire was quickly extinguished with the most time on scene spent on ventilating the structure. After approximately 4 hours on scene Command cleared all units. No injuries were reported. The Bethlehem Township Fire Marshal's office is investigating.
